PM Modi Inaugurates New 'Namo Kamalam' BJP District Office In South Gujarat's Navsari

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated the Bharatiya Janata Party's newly constructed 'Namo Kamalam' office in Navsari town of south Gujarat, describing it as the country's first artificial intelligence-powered party office and telling workers that the BJP's power, positions and organisational strength were entirely meant for public service. Addressing party workers and local residents after the inauguration, Modi said the technology-enabled building should serve as a centre for public service rather than merely an administrative facility.

The Prime Minister praised the discipline and humility of grassroots BJP workers in Navsari, saying that even ordinary party workers had never let sustained public support go to their heads. "After all these years and so much love, our workers have firmly held onto the path of public service," he told the gathering. He added that constructing a building was not the difficult part, but ensuring that the tradition of service the party had nurtured over the years gained wider reach through the new office would be the real test.

Modi also recalled Navsari's political significance, noting that the constituency had set a national record in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections when BJP leader and Union minister C.R. Patil won the seat with a margin of 6.89 lakh votes, the highest victory margin recorded anywhere in the country that year. The Prime Minister cited this as evidence of the deep trust local voters had placed in the party over the years.

The event was attended by several senior BJP leaders, including Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi and state BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma. According to officials, the new office has been designed with digital infrastructure and modern facilities intended to support both organisational functioning and public outreach, and the inauguration programme was livestreamed at various locations across the district.

The Navsari event formed part of a broader day-long visit by Modi to Gujarat, which began in Vadodara, where he inaugurated development and connectivity projects and interacted with young people, before travelling on to Navsari. Ahead of his arrival, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel described the state as being "buzzing with energy," welcoming the Prime Minister on social media and calling the day one centred on development, modern connectivity and major milestones for Gujarat. During his remarks, Modi also reflected on his early years as Gujarat's chief minister, recalling his campaign for girl-child education in the state's villages, and urged BJP workers in Navsari to ensure that welfare schemes reached every section of society, including street vendors, while also commending local cleanliness initiatives in the district.
