PM Modi Hails Operation Sindoor’s Success in Varanasi, Credits Lord Shiva
Modi avenges Pahalgam with divine blessings!
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a vibrant public gathering in his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi on Saturday, declared that his vow to avenge the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives, was fulfilled through Operation Sindoor with the blessings of Lord Shiva. “My heart was heavy with grief for those lost in Pahalgam,” Modi said, emphasizing the emotional weight of the tragedy. “I promised to avenge the ‘sindoor’ of our daughters, and with Mahadev’s blessings, that promise stands fulfilled.”
Modi dedicated Operation Sindoor’s success, a precision strike against Pakistan-based terror camps on May 6-7, to Lord Shiva, underscoring the “unity of 140 crore Indians” as its backbone. The operation, which targeted nine terror hideouts in just 22 minutes, was a response to the brutal killing of civilians, including tourists, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, an attack Modi described as an assault on India’s soul.
During his 51st visit to Varanasi, Modi also inaugurated 52 development projects worth Rs 2,183.45 crore, spanning healthcare, education, and tourism, and released the 20th PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi instalment, transferring Rs 20,500 crore to over 9.7 crore farmers. He distributed assistive devices to disabled individuals and senior citizens, reinforcing inclusive growth. Speaking in the local dialect, Modi said, “Hum Kaashi ke har parivar-jan ke pranaam karat hai,” drawing cheers from the crowd.
