Pema Khandu Unveils ‘Pema 3.0’ Vision to Power Rural Growth in Arunachal Pradesh

Chief Minister Pema Khandu is steering Arunachal Pradesh toward a future of inclusive and sustainable development, with a laser focus on uplifting rural communities. On Friday, October 17, 2025, he reaffirmed his government’s commitment to ensuring welfare schemes reach every household, positioning villages as the cornerstone of the state’s progress under the ambitious ‘Pema 3.0 – Year of Reforms & Growth’ initiative.

In a post on X, Khandu showcased the transformative impact of flagship programs. The Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission has empowered 1,35,754 households, while the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana has provided jobs to 1,635 individuals. Additionally, 85,000 households have benefited from the Kisan Sashaktikaran Pariyojana, and 35,591 families now have homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin, delivering shelter and dignity to thousands.

“Our goal is to spark progress at the grassroots, ensuring no household is left behind,” Khandu declared, emphasizing the pivotal role of rural empowerment. By strengthening self-help groups and village economies, the state aims to foster long-term economic transformation, making Arunachal’s rural heartlands vibrant hubs of opportunity.
