Pawan Kalyan Admitted To Hospital, Undergoes Surgery Following Health Complications
Pawan Kalyan undergoes surgery and is now recovering steadily.
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Actor Pawan Kalyan is recovering after undergoing surgery following a recent health scare, according to updates shared by his family and political party. The leader reportedly fell ill on Friday morning while attending an official meeting with government representatives.
Following medical advice, he cancelled his scheduled engagements and was admitted to a hospital for further evaluation. His condition was later assessed through medical tests, including an MRI scan, after which doctors recommended immediate surgery.
The surgical procedure was carried out on Saturday evening. According to a statement released by the Jana Sena Party on social media, Pawan Kalyan had been experiencing health-related issues for several months prior to the incident. The statement further noted that after reviewing his medical reports, doctors decided that surgery was necessary and proceeded with the operation.
Following the procedure, his wife Anna Konidela provided an update on his condition through Instagram Stories, reassuring well-wishers that he is recovering. She wrote briefly, “He is recovering. All is well. Thank you.” The update comes as supporters from both political and film circles continue to express concern and send wishes for his speedy recovery.
Medical professionals have advised that Pawan Kalyan may need a rest period of approximately one to two weeks before resuming official duties. However, they have also indicated that he will need to take long-term precautions, and a complete recovery may take additional time depending on his health progress.

Messages of support have been pouring in from across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also reached out to enquire about his health, expressing confidence in his recovery and wishing him well. The widespread responses reflect Pawan Kalyan’s dual influence as both a political leader and a prominent figure in the Telugu film industry.
On the professional front, Pawan Kalyan was last seen in the Telugu action-comedy Ustaad Bhagat Singh, directed by Harish Shankar and released earlier this year. His current health situation has temporarily paused his political and public engagements as he focuses on recovery.
