Over 3.7 Lakh Aspirants Compete for 10,000 Constable Posts in Rajasthan

The Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment Examination-2025 concluded on Sunday, September 14, 2025, with an impressive turnout of nearly 72% as 3,76,902 candidates vied for 10,000 coveted positions in the state’s police force. Conducted over two days across multiple shifts, the high-stakes written exam marked a significant step in bolstering Rajasthan’s law enforcement ranks, with a focus on filling 8,512 constable (general) posts among other roles.

Additional Director General of Police (Recruitment and Promotion Board) Bipin Kumar Pandey reported that out of the 5,24,740 registered applicants, 3,76,902 candidates participated in the examination held on Saturday and Sunday. The second day saw test centers operational in 21 districts across the state, ensuring widespread accessibility for aspirants. “The strong participation reflects the enthusiasm and determination of Rajasthan’s youth to serve in the police force,” Pandey noted, highlighting the exam’s smooth execution.

The recruitment drive, one of the largest of its kind in recent years, underscores the Rajasthan government’s commitment to strengthening public safety and enhancing the state’s law enforcement capabilities. The examination tested candidates on a range of subjects, including general knowledge, reasoning, and aptitude, designed to identify individuals equipped to handle the challenges of modern policing. Successful candidates will undergo further stages of the selection process, including physical tests and interviews, to secure their positions.
