Operation Sindoor: Pakistan PM Condemns Strikes, Vows Forceful Revenge!

Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif Condemns Indian Air Force Strikes, Vows Forceful Response Amid Operation Sindoor

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued a fiery statement late Tuesday night, denouncing what he described as "cowardly" airstrikes by the Indian Air Force on five locations within Pakistan-controlled territory.

The strikes, part of India's reported "Operation Sindoor," were launched in retaliation for the April 22, 2025, terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which killed 26 people, mostly tourists. Sharif vowed a "forceful response" to what he called an "act of war imposed by India," asserting Pakistan's right to defend itself and rallying national support behind its armed forces.

The exact translation of his statement is below:
“The cunning enemy has carried out cowardly attacks on five locations in Pakistan. Pakistan has every right to respond forcefully to this act of war imposed by India, and a forceful response is being given. The entire nation stands with the Pakistani armed forces, and the morale and spirit of the entire Pakistani nation are high. The Pakistani nation and the Pakistani armed forces know how to deal with the enemy. We will never allow the enemy to succeed in their nefarious goals.”

Sharif’s remarks align with statements from other Pakistani officials. Information Minister Attaullah Tarar had earlier warned of a potential Indian military strike based on "credible intelligence," vowing a "decisive response" to any aggression. Defense Minister Khawaja Asif echoed this sentiment, stating that Pakistan’s military was on high alert and prepared to counter any incursion
