Operation Sindoor Debate: "No Country Dared Stop Operation Sindoor" PM Modi Slams Congress for Betraying Soldiers
PM Modi says no country stopped Operation Sindoor, slams Congress for not backing soldiers.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a powerful address in the Lok Sabha, asserting that no global leader asked India to halt Operation Sindoor, a decisive military strike avenging the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. Speaking during a debate on the attack and operation, Modi revealed that US Vice President JD Vance warned him of a potential Pakistani attack on May 9, to which he responded, “If Pakistan attacks, our response will be bigger—bullets will be met with cannons.”
Modi emphasized that India faced no international resistance, with only three countries backing Pakistan at the UN. He lambasted Congress and its allies for failing to support India’s soldiers, accusing them of echoing Pakistani propaganda for political gains. “India’s unity foiled a conspiracy to spark riots,” he declared, hailing the operation as a “Vijayotsav” that destroyed terror hubs in Pakistan within 22 minutes, leaving their airbases “in ICU.”
Highlighting India’s self-reliance, Modi noted that indigenous drones and missiles exposed Pakistan’s inferior arsenal. “We called their nuclear bluff,” he said, adding that terror masterminds now face sleepless nights. Slamming Congress for undermining the armed forces, he affirmed their “free hand” ensured a lesson terrorists won’t forget.
