The incident occurred moments later, before Vanitha could safely leave the elevator. According to the report, the lift suddenly began moving downward while its gate remained open. Vanitha was reportedly caught off guard by the unexpected movement and attempted to get out of the elevator quickly. She became trapped as the lift moved, sustaining serious injuries in the process. The circumstances surrounding the elevator's sudden movement are expected to be examined as part of the investigation.
