Olympic Champion Caster Semenya Scores Major Win in Explosive Human Rights Battle!

Caster Semenya wins partial victory as European Court rules her fair hearing rights were violated in Swiss court.

In a stunning turn of events, two-time Olympic gold medalist Caster Semenya secured a partial victory in her long-running legal war against track and field’s controversial sex eligibility regulations.

The European Court of Human Rights’ Grand Chamber, in a landmark ruling on Thursday, declared that Semenya’s right to a fair hearing was violated by Switzerland’s Supreme Court during her appeal against a decision by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which upheld World Athletics’ rules.

The Strasbourg-based court, Europe’s highest human rights authority, has ordered the case back to the Swiss federal court in Lausanne for further review. While other elements of Semenya’s appeal were dismissed, this ruling marks a significant step in her seven-year fight for justice.
