Noida: Man Arrested for Raping 13-Year-Old Stepdaughter
A man was arrested in Noida’s Phase 2 for allegedly raping his 13-year-old stepdaughter on Monday, police reported on Wednesday. The assault occurred when the girl was alone at home.
Following a complaint by the girl’s mother, police filed a case under Section 65(1) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (rape of a girl under 16) and the POCSO Act at Phase 2 police station.
The mother, who married the accused in a temple five years ago after her first husband’s death, has three sons and a daughter. She alleged that her daughter was raped by her stepfather, who threatened to kill the girl if she disclosed the incident. The girl later confided in her mother about the ordeal.

The accused, originally from Bulandshahr and currently residing in Noida, was arrested and sent to jail following a court order, police confirmed. The investigation is ongoing to ensure justice for the victim.
