Noida Airport Tightens Security With Five New Police Outposts Before CM Yogi Visit

Five new police outposts and patrols set up at Noida Airport ahead of CM Yogi’s pre-inauguration inspection.

Security and traffic management around Noida International Airport have been significantly ramped up ahead of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit, officials said on Saturday. Five temporary police outposts have been established in the airport vicinity to enhance surveillance and ensure rapid response to any security concerns.

The new outposts are strategically positioned at Milestone 32 km, the Cargo Terminal, the Domestic Terminal, Milestone 27 km, and Milestone 15 km. Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh has directed these measures to bolster internal and external security in the sensitive airport zone, which will host the upcoming inauguration of the Noida International Airport.

To complement the outposts, seven PCR and PRV vehicles have been deployed across key areas. One PCR will patrol the Yamuna Expressway stretch between Jewar Toll Plaza and Falaida Cut, while another monitors the airport’s main access road. Two PRVs are assigned to rural patrols in surrounding areas, and the remaining three will operate within the Domestic Terminal police station limits. All vehicles are equipped with advanced security systems to ensure swift action during emergencies.

The heightened security and traffic measures are intended to facilitate smooth operations and ensure commuter safety ahead of the grand event.
