NDA Holds Coordination Meeting In Bihar To Improve Alliance Functioning

NDA leaders discuss coordination between government and organisation.

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) held a key coordination meeting in Patna on Friday, focusing on strengthening cooperation between the Bihar government and the alliance’s organisational structure. The meeting, held at the Chief Minister’s residence, marked the first major organisational exercise by the NDA after the formation of the new state government.

The session was chaired by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and attended by several senior alliance leaders, including former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, JD(U) National Working President Sanjay Jha, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and JD(U) State President Umesh Kushwaha. Leaders discussed ways to improve coordination between government departments and party networks to ensure better implementation of welfare and development schemes.

A significant feature of the meeting was the participation of district presidents from all five NDA constituent parties. Their inclusion marked the first time that district-level leaders from all alliance partners took part in a joint coordination meeting of this scale. The district presidents shared feedback on political developments, organisational challenges and public outreach efforts in their respective areas.

Discussions focused on creating a stronger connection between the government and the alliance’s grassroots network. Leaders said regular coordination meetings would be organised at the district level, allowing party representatives to communicate government achievements and welfare initiatives more effectively among citizens.

Nishant Kumar, son of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, said Nitish Kumar appreciated the work being carried out under Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary’s leadership. He added that Nitish Kumar expressed confidence that the current government would continue the development initiatives undertaken in Bihar over the past two decades.

The NDA leaders said strengthening organisational coordination would remain a key priority for the alliance. By bringing together senior leaders and district-level representatives, the coalition aims to improve the delivery of government schemes, expand public outreach and work collectively towards its goal of building a more developed Bihar.
