MY Bharat Youth Convention Begins In Delhi With Over 6,000 Participants

Thousands gather in Delhi for youth-led Viksit Bharat vision event.

The ‘Youth for Viksit Bharat - MY Bharat Youth Convention’ began on Saturday at Thyagaraj Stadium in New Delhi, bringing together more than 6,000 young participants from across the country. The event has been organised by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, as part of a national initiative aimed at strengthening youth participation in nation-building and leadership development.

The convention is being held in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, which seeks to position India’s youth as a central force in the country’s long-term development journey. According to the Ministry, the gathering is designed to create a platform where young achievers and emerging leaders can interact directly, exchange ideas and contribute to shaping future policy and social transformation.

Participants at the event include students, entrepreneurs, innovators, professionals, content creators and young leaders representing diverse regions and backgrounds. The large-scale participation reflects the government’s focus on inclusivity and youth engagement, with the convention aiming to highlight the aspirations and capabilities of India’s younger generation.

Notable personalities expected to interact with participants include sprinter Gurindervir Singh, Olympic medallist Aman Sehrawat, actor Vikrant Massey and entrepreneur Aman Gupta, alongside UPSC achievers and digital creators such as Malhar Kalambe and RJ Raunac.

The Ministry stated that the convention will also recognise outstanding young achievers in fields such as sports, governance, entrepreneurship and content creation. The initiative aims to motivate participants by showcasing real-life success stories and encouraging greater involvement in public service, innovation and community development. Organisers believe such recognition will help strengthen youth-led contributions to national progress.

The event also highlighted MY Bharat’s recent achievement of securing a Guinness World Records title for the ‘Most Users to Take an Online Quiz in One Week’ through the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) Quiz initiative. According to official figures, over 50 lakh young people participated nationwide, with 390,812 completing the quiz during the assessment period. The Ministry said the milestone reflects the growing engagement of India’s youth with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 and underscores the role of digital platforms in fostering civic participation.
