Mumbai University Third Merit List For UG Admissions Out Today at 7 PM: How to Check
Mumbai University releases the third UG merit list today at 7 PM on the official admission portal.
The University of Mumbai is set to release the third merit list for undergraduate admissions on Thursday at 7:00 PM, providing another opportunity for students seeking admission to various degree programs across affiliated colleges. The merit list will cover courses such as BA, BCom, BSc, BMS, BAF, BBI, and several other undergraduate programs offered for the 2026-27 academic session.
The third merit list will be published by individual colleges on their respective websites and will include course-wise cut-off marks as well as the names of shortlisted candidates. The list is expected to fill seats that remain vacant after the completion of the first two admission rounds. Students who have applied for admission are advised to regularly monitor their preferred college websites for updates.
Candidates can access the merit list by visiting the university’s undergraduate admission portal, selecting the UG Admission 2026 section, and opening the Third Merit List 2026 link. Applicants will then need to choose their respective college and course to view the PDF document containing the selection details. Students are advised to download and save the merit list for future reference.

Following the publication of the merit list, colleges will begin the document verification and fee payment process from June 5 to June 9. Admission will be confirmed only after successful verification of academic documents and payment of the prescribed fees. University officials have urged candidates to complete all formalities within the stipulated period to avoid losing their allotted seats.
According to the revised admission schedule, classes for the 2026-27 academic year are expected to commence on June 13. The university had earlier extended the registration deadline for undergraduate admissions until May 23 after making adjustments to the admission calendar to accommodate applicants.
Meanwhile, Mumbai University is also processing applications for various postgraduate programs, including one-year postgraduate diploma courses, two-year master's programs, fourth-year honors courses, and fourth-year honors with research tracks. The postgraduate admission process began on May 9, and eligible candidates have been applying through the university’s online admission portal as preparations continue for the new academic session.
