Mohan Yadav Meets PM Modi, Invites Him to Global Investors Summit 2027
Yadav also briefed Modi on Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and new transport service.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday and briefed him on development works, public welfare initiatives, investment and the state's progress. During the meeting, Yadav invited Modi to attend the Global Investors Summit 2027, which is scheduled to be held in Madhya Pradesh. The meeting was confirmed by the Prime Minister's Office, which said Yadav met Modi in New Delhi.
Yadav shared details of efforts being made to create an environment conducive to investment in Madhya Pradesh. He also briefed the prime minister on initiatives aimed at promoting industrial development and generating employment in the state. The Global Investors Summit 2027 is being positioned by the Madhya Pradesh government as an avenue to attract investment and expand industrial opportunities, with the chief minister extending an invitation to Modi during the meeting.
The chief minister also informed Modi about the ‘Mukhyamantri Sugam Parivahan Seva’, a transport service launched in Madhya Pradesh. Alongside the transport initiative, Yadav discussed various development-related programmes and public welfare measures being implemented across the state. He also shared information about investments and the progress of ongoing initiatives, according to details of the meeting.

Another subject discussed was the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, which has been underway in Madhya Pradesh since September 17. Yadav briefed the prime minister about activities and programmes organised under the campaign across the state. The initiatives involve public participation, service and public welfare, with the chief minister sharing details of the activities being conducted as part of the campaign.
The meeting comes after Madhya Pradesh's recent efforts to engage investors and international representatives ahead of the 2027 summit. During his September visit to the United Arab Emirates, Yadav had also invited international representatives to participate in the Global Investors Summit. The state has been presenting investment opportunities and industrial potential as part of its outreach to investors.
During his meeting with Modi, Yadav also sought the prime minister's guidance on matters related to Madhya Pradesh's development and welfare initiatives. The discussions covered the state's development agenda, investment efforts, public welfare programmes and the upcoming Global Investors Summit 2027. The invitation to Modi forms part of the state's preparations for the summit and its wider efforts to promote investment and industrial development.
