PM Modi touts massive employment drive, highlighting welfare schemes and manufacturing boom as key drivers of India’s rise.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday underscored his government’s relentless focus on job creation, distributing over 51,000 appointment letters in a virtual address at the Rozgar Mela. He emphasized that India’s progress over the past 11 years has created millions of jobs through welfare schemes and a booming manufacturing sector.

Modi highlighted initiatives like building 4 crore houses, providing 10 crore LPG connections, and the rooftop solar program, which have generated lakhs of jobs. The manufacturing sector has seen a surge, with electronics production soaring to Rs 11 lakh crore and mobile manufacturing units growing from 2-4 to nearly 300. Defence production has crossed Rs 1.25 lakh crore, bolstered by India’s indigenous military capabilities showcased during Operation Sindoor.

Citing his recent five-nation tour, Modi said global agreements in defence, pharmaceuticals, digital technology, energy, and rare earth minerals will create opportunities for Indian youth both domestically and internationally. He called India’s youth and democracy its “infinite powers,” positioning the country as a global leader with the largest youth population.
