Mizoram Final Electoral Roll Published With 8.35 Lakh Voters, Here's How to Check
Mizoram publishes final electoral roll after Special Intensive Revision process.
The final electoral roll for Mizoram was published after the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), with the updated list containing 8,35,869 registered voters. The revision process began on May 20 and concluded on June 28, following which officials completed the process of updating the electoral records across the State.
The final roll includes 39,243 newly added electors, while 32,280 names were removed during the revision process. As a result, the total number of voters increased by 6,963 compared with the initial draft roll, which contained 8,28,906 electors. The final publication had originally been scheduled for an earlier date but was subsequently rescheduled.
According to the final figures, Mizoram has 4,03,179 male voters and 4,32,689 female voters. The roll also includes one voter registered under the third-gender category. The figures reflect the changes made during the revision exercise, including the addition of eligible voters and deletion of names that were found to require removal from the electoral database.

The Special Intensive Revision was undertaken to update the electoral roll and ensure that voter records accurately reflect eligible electors. Such revisions can involve the inclusion of newly eligible voters as well as the removal of duplicate, shifted or otherwise ineligible entries following the verification process. The publication of the final roll marks the completion of the current revision exercise in Mizoram.
How to check your name in the Mizoram electoral roll:
Voters can check whether their names appear in the final electoral roll through the Election Commission’s official voter services. They can use the electoral search facility by entering details such as their name, constituency or other available voter information. Voters can also check their Electoral Photo Identity Card details through the official voter services platform.
Those who find discrepancies in their details should follow the procedures prescribed by the election authorities for corrections or other electoral-roll-related requests. Voters are advised to verify their entries well in advance of any election to ensure that their registration details are accurate and up to date.
