A milkman in Lucknow was detained on Sunday after a customer accused him of spitting into milk before delivery, police confirmed. The incident, allegedly captured on CCTV, has sparked outrage in the state capital.
The complaint was filed by a resident of Gomti Nagar, who claimed he witnessed the milkman, identified as Mohammad Sharif, also know as Pappu, spitting into the milk container before handing it over. The customer’s home CCTV footage, which has since surfaced online, reportedly shows the act, prompting swift action from authorities.
