Karnataka I PUC 2026 Results Arriving Sooner Than Expected — Check Through Your College

Karnataka Class 11 PUC results are expected March 30 after evaluation and verification completion.

The Karnataka Department of Pre-University Education is expected to announce the First Pre-University Course (I PUC) results for Class 11 students by March 30, 2026. Students will likely be able to access their results through their respective colleges, with authorities indicating that the process is in its final stages.

Sources familiar with the development have confirmed that the evaluation of answer sheets and compilation of results have been largely completed following the examinations held between late February and mid-March. Colleges across the state are currently engaged in finalising marks and carrying out necessary verification procedures before releasing the results.

The I PUC examinations, conducted under the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board, took place from February 28 to March 17, 2026. These exams are a crucial academic milestone for Class 11 students in the state, forming the basis for their progression to the second year of pre-university education.

Officials have indicated that while March 30 is the tentative date for the declaration of results, there could be slight variations in availability depending on individual colleges and districts. Administrative processes and final checks at the institutional level may influence the exact timing of result access for students.

The current evaluation system follows a significant policy decision taken by the Karnataka government in line with a Supreme Court directive. Under this framework, board examinations are not conducted for Classes 5, 8, 9, and 11, and instead, assessments for Class 11 students are based on annual examinations conducted at the institutional level.

State School Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa had earlier clarified that this approach aims to reduce examination pressure while maintaining academic assessment standards. As students await their results, educational institutions are preparing to ensure a smooth and timely dissemination process once the results are officially declared.
