Karnataka 2nd PUC 2026 Results Not Out Today, Says KSEAB
Karnataka 2nd PUC 2026 results delayed; students advised to wait.
The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) on Tuesday confirmed that the 2nd PUC (Class 12) results for 2026 will not be released today, April 7, as had been anticipated. Over 7.1 lakh students awaiting their scores will need to exercise patience due to temporary restrictions linked to ongoing election preparations in the state.
KSEAB stated that the results are ready for declaration, but the release has been postponed in adherence to state regulations during the election period. Officials assured students that a revised announcement date will be shared soon via the board’s official websites, including kseab.karnataka.gov.in and karresults.nic.in. Students are advised to keep their login credentials, registration numbers, and dates of birth ready and check the portals regularly for updates.
The 2nd PUC examinations for 2026 were conducted from February 28 to March 17, with a total enrollment of 710,363 students across 5,174 pre-university colleges. This cohort included 646,801 first-time candidates, 50,540 repeat candidates, and 13,022 private candidates, reflecting a significant participation across the state’s education system.

Last year, the 2nd PUC results were declared on April 8, following exams conducted from March 1 to March 20. The overall pass rate in 2025 stood at 69.16%, with 476,256 students successfully clearing the exams out of 688,678 candidates. Given the similarities in the examination schedule, education officials are hopeful that the 2026 results will be announced shortly after the election-related restrictions are lifted, likely within the next week.
Students and parents are urged to remain vigilant and avoid unofficial sources, as the board emphasizes that official updates will only be posted on its sanctioned websites. Preparing necessary documents in advance will help students access their results promptly once released.
The board’s timely release of the 2nd PUC results is crucial for students planning higher education admissions and other career pathways. Authorities are working to ensure that the announcement occurs as soon as election protocols permit, minimizing further delays in academic progression.
