J&K Police’s Bold New Mission: Crush Crime, Protect the Innocent with LG’s Mantra!
J&K Police embrace LG’s mantra to protect the innocent and punish the guilty, targeting crime and terrorism.
Jammu and Kashmir’s Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat declared that the police force is steadfastly guided by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha’s powerful mantra: “Do not touch the innocent and do not spare the guilty.” Speaking at a public event in Jammu, Prabhat emphasized this principle as the cornerstone of J&K Police’s mission to deliver justice and support the oppressed.
“Our goal is to stand with those in distress and resolve their issues,” Prabhat stated, likening police duties to achieving Nobel Prize-level excellence across disciplines. He stressed the force’s commitment to aiding victims of crime, drugs, gangsters, and terrorism, while urging society to stay vigilant as the first line of defense. Highlighting a recent job fraud case, he called for public awareness to prevent such scams, noting, “Why do we slip on the same banana peel?”
Prabhat also praised new victim-centric laws being rolled out, designed to swiftly apprehend culprits, seize their assets, and ensure timely justice. “Every day is a test, and we must deliver results worthy of the highest medals,” he asserted, underscoring J&K Police’s role as a relentless force for change and justice in the Union Territory.
