Jasmine Sandlas Refuses to Perform Until Women Feel Safe at Concert

A video of singer Jasmine Sandlas from her recent concert in Delhi is going viral after she paused her performance to address alleged harassment in the audience. The Dhurandhar singer stopped midway through her show when she noticed a couple of men troubling women attendees. Refusing to ignore the situation, she immediately called on security personnel to intervene. The clip has since drawn widespread praise online. Many users have applauded her for prioritising safety over performance.

Jasmine Sandlas, known for the Dhurandhar title track and the dance number Shararat from the Ranveer Singh film, was performing in the national capital when the incident occurred. Spotting the disturbance, she addressed the issue directly from the stage. In the viral video, she is heard saying, “Security, can you please remove these two guys? They are troubling these women.” Her firm tone made it clear that such behaviour would not be tolerated. Security officials were asked to escort the men out of the venue.

The singer further won appreciation when she declared that she would not continue performing if women did not feel safe at her concert. “I will not perform if women don't feel safe in my concert,” she said, drawing loud cheers from the crowd. Her decisive stance resonated strongly with many attendees. Social media users described her action as responsible and empowering. The moment quickly became a talking point across platforms.

Several users praised her calm yet firm handling of the situation. During the concert, actor Ayesha Khan, who featured in Shararat, also joined Jasmine Sandlas on stage. The duo performed together, energising the crowd with the popular track. In one of the circulating clips, Ayesha is heard saying, “Main saare steps bhool gayi stage pe aake. I'm so glad to be here. I always tell Jasmine, “She’s a god’s child.” The event ultimately became memorable not just for its music but for the strong message on women’s safety delivered from the stage.
