Jamshedpur to get a new modern interstate bus terminal soon.
Jharkhand’s industrial city of Jamshedpur is poised to receive a state-of-the-art interstate bus terminal, featuring modern transportation amenities designed to enhance commuter experience. The terminal will be constructed on a 13-acre site near Mango Dimna Chowk, with an estimated investment of Rs 145.24 crore.
Urban Development Minister Sudivya Kumar has granted in-principle approval for the project, which will be developed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). The detailed proposal is slated for submission for administrative clearance shortly.
The Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure Development Company (JUIDCO) will oversee the implementation, following a blueprint designed by a Karnataka-based agency. The terminal complex will comprise a five-storey building with two basements and three floors, alongside a commercial building featuring one basement and three floors.
