India’s Culinary Future Unveiled at 14th Indian Restaurant Congress 2025!

The 14th Indian Restaurant Congress & Awards (IRC), held on August 5–6 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, alongside the Coffee & Tea Asia Summit, marked a transformative moment for India’s $66 billion food and beverage industry, projected to nearly double by 2030. Themed “A Global Outlook,” the event, organized by Restaurant India and Franchise India, highlighted the fusion of culinary innovation, technology, and global expansion.
Inaugurated by Anil Chadha, MD of ITC Hotels, the summit brought together over 2,000 chefs, restaurateurs, tech disruptors, and policymakers. Discussions focused on AI-driven plating, sustainable sourcing, and the rise of quick-service restaurants, with insights from industry leaders like M. Mahadevan, Kallol Banerjee, Anjan Chatterjee, Akshay Bector, and Chef Vicky Ratnani. The event emphasized fast, inclusive, and authentic dining experiences tailored to evolving consumer demands.
A highlight was the launch of Restaurant India’s print publication, featuring culinary pioneers Anjan Chatterjee, Kallol Banerjee, and Chef Vicky Ratnani, celebrating their contributions to India’s F&B landscape. The 14th Indian Restaurant Awards on August 5 honored over 80 brands from 500+ nominations, recognizing excellence in categories like Restaurant of the Year and Best QSR Concept, drawing 700 attendees.

Co-located with the Coffee & Tea Asia Summit, the event showcased beverage innovations, from sustainable brewing to café culture trends. With support from partners like Cremica and Incredible India, IRC 2025 sparked collaborations and set the stage for India’s culinary ascent on the global stage.
