IIT Mandi Opens PRAYAS 4.0 Program; One-Month AI, Robotics, IoT Training in July
IIT Mandi opens applications for a one-month residential AI and robotics IoT programme.
The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi has opened applications for its one-month residential programme under the PRAYAS 4.0 initiative, aimed at providing structured learning in emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, robotics, and the Internet of Things. The programme will be held in July 2026 at the institute’s campus in Mandi and is being conducted by its Centre for Continuing Education.
PRAYAS, short for “Promoting and Accelerating Young and Aspiring Students", is designed to make advanced technology education accessible to a wide range of learners. The programme is open to students from diverse academic backgrounds, and prior technical knowledge is not mandatory, making it suitable for beginners as well as those looking to strengthen their skills.
Participants will undergo an intensive academic schedule, with 5–6 hours of daily sessions led by IIT faculty and experts. The curriculum is structured to gradually move from foundational concepts to advanced applications, covering areas such as embedded systems, AI basics, sensor technologies, and intelligent automation, with a strong focus on practical understanding.

A key highlight of the programme is its hands-on approach, supported by access to IIT Mandi’s advanced laboratories and infrastructure. Students will engage in real-world applications, projects, and lab work, allowing them to apply theoretical concepts and gain industry-relevant experience in a highly immersive environment.
The one-month residential programme includes accommodation and meals on campus, ensuring a focused learning experience. The total fee is ₹62,400 plus GST, and participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certification from IIT Mandi, enhancing their academic profile and opening pathways to opportunities in the rapidly evolving technology sector.
