Gujarat MLAs Hold Courtesy Meeting With PM Modi In New Delhi

Gujarat BJP MLAs meet PM Modi, discuss governance priorities and development.

A group of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs from Gujarat met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence in New Delhi on Tuesday evening. The delegation comprised legislators from multiple constituencies across the state. The interaction was described as a courtesy meeting focused on governance and public service. Participants said it also provided an opportunity to discuss development-related experiences.

According to those present, the meeting centered on exchange of views regarding public welfare initiatives and administrative priorities. The Prime Minister is said to have engaged with the legislators on issues linked to governance efficiency and constituency development. The MLAs highlighted their on-ground experiences from their respective regions. The discussion remained informal but focused on public service delivery.

Vejalpur MLA Amit Thaker described the meeting as highly motivating and said it strengthened his commitment to public service. He expressed that interacting with the Prime Minister gave him renewed inspiration to work for development in his constituency. Thaker also emphasized themes such as patriotism, development, service, and security as key guiding principles. He added that he would continue working with greater dedication for Vejalpur and Ahmedabad.

Savarkundla-Liliya MLA Mahesh Kaswala also termed the interaction significant and memorable. He noted that meeting the Prime Minister during a period marking years of public service added to the occasion’s importance. Kaswala said the interaction reflected a “nation first” approach and created a positive environment for discussion. He further stated that he was encouraged to strengthen welfare initiatives in his constituency.

Other MLAs present in the delegation included Bapunagar MLA Dineshsinh Kushwaha, Gandhinagar North MLA Rita Patel, Naroda MLA Payal Kukrani, and Vijapur MLA Chatursinh Javanji Chavda, along with several others. They collectively shared updates on constituency-level development issues and governance challenges. The discussions also touched on improving public welfare delivery and administrative coordination. Members said the meeting helped them reflect on their responsibilities as public representatives.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with the MLAs expressing appreciation for the interaction with the Prime Minister. They stated that the guidance received would help them focus more effectively on development work in their respective constituencies. The delegation reiterated its commitment to strengthening governance and public welfare efforts across Gujarat. The interaction was viewed as reinforcing their motivation for continued public service.
