From Stalin to Naidu: Telangana Courts Top CMs for Mega Investment Summit

Top chief ministers confirm presence at Telangana’s mega global investment summit.

The Telangana government has launched an unprecedented outreach blitz ahead of its flagship Telangana Rising Global Summit on December 8-9, dispatching cabinet ministers across the country to personally invite chief ministers from major states, signalling the event’s transformation into a high-stakes national platform for economic diplomacy and political networking.

Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy led the campaign by meeting Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin at the state Secretariat in Chennai and later travelling to New Delhi to hand-deliver an invitation to Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. Simultaneously, Roads & Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy visited Vijayawada to brief Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on the summit’s ambitious design, explicitly modelled on the World Economic Forum, with a singular focus on attracting transformative large-scale investments into Telangana.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka flew to Ranchi to personally invite Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residence, detailing Telangana’s bold target of becoming a $3-trillion economy within the coming years. He revealed that a meticulously drafted Vision Document, incorporating recommendations from NITI Aayog and domain experts across sectors, will be formally unveiled during the summit at the state-of-the-art Bharat Future City.

With chief ministers cutting across regional and ideological lines confirming their participation, the Telangana Rising Global Summit is rapidly emerging as one of the most significant congregations of political leadership outside Parliament, underscoring Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s aggressive strategy to position Telangana as India’s undisputed next economic powerhouse and investment magnet.
