Expired Food With Fake Labels Seized in Delhi Crime Branch Raid

Delhi police's Crime Branch conducted a major raid in the city, seizing large quantities of expired food items with counterfeit labels. The operation targeted multiple warehouses suspected of distributing adulterated and mislabeled products across the National Capital Region.

Officials said the seized items included packaged snacks, dairy products, and beverages, all of which were past their expiry dates. The fake labeling allegedly made the products appear fresh, posing serious health risks to consumers. Police have stated that such operations are part of a wider crackdown on illegal food distribution networks in Delhi.

According to Crime Branch sources, several individuals involved in the trade have been taken into custody for questioning. Investigators are also tracing the supply chain to determine the extent of the operation and identify other distributors and sellers who may have sold these tainted products.
