Everything is.... Here's What Eknath Shinde said about Mahayuti

Shinde Quashes Mahayuti Rift Rumors, Signals Unity

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday brushed off rumors of discord within the Mahayuti alliance, asserting that the coalition of Shiv Sena, BJP, and Ajit Pawar’s NCP remains rock-solid. “Everything is hunky-dory. We work, don’t complain, and fight together,” Shinde told reporters, promising to resolve any issues through dialogue.

Speculation swirled that Shinde had raised concerns with Union Home Minister Amit Shah about NCP’s Ajit Pawar, but both leaders dismissed the claims. “If I have something to say, I’ll speak directly to Pawar or CM Devendra Fadnavis,” Shinde said. Pawar echoed, “We share good relations.” BJP’s Sudhir Mungantiwar backed Shinde, noting he’s not one to air grievances indirectly.

The Mahayuti, which secured a landslide victory in last November’s assembly polls, has faced murmurs of tension, particularly over guardian minister posts. Shiv Sena’s absence at an NCP-hosted lunch for Shah in Raigad, attended by Pawar’s ally Sunil Tatkare, fueled talk of friction. The event, labeled “non-political” by Tatkare, coincided with disputes over Raigad’s guardian minister role, where NCP’s Aditi Tatkare faces resistance from Sena’s Bharat Gogawale. A similar row in Nashik led to a pause in appointments in January.

Despite Shinde stepping down as CM for Fadnavis post-polls, the alliance projects unity, with Shah’s recent Raigad visit marking Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s 345th death anniversary underscoring their shared goals.
