Dipke Recalls Being Furious With Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka During CJP’s Challenging Moment

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder and convenor Abhijeet Dipke on Sunday recalled a moment of frustration involving party spokespersons Ashutosh Ranka and Sourav Das during the ‘Sansad Chalo’ march on July 20. Dipke said he was “mad” at the two leaders after they were unavailable at a crucial point when the crowd was waiting to move forward. His remarks shed light on the challenges he faced while attempting to coordinate the demonstration and manage an impatient gathering. Recalling the incident, Dipke said the crowd had grown increasingly restless and wanted to proceed with the march.

However, he said he did not have enough energy at that moment to lead the group himself. The absence of Ranka and Das added to the situation, leaving Dipke searching for support as participants waited for the next move. Dipke described his reaction to the situation while recounting the events of the march. His frustration was reflected in his recollection of calling out to the two spokespersons and asking, “Where the hell are you guys…?” The remark highlighted the pressure he was under as the gathering became impatient and expectations grew for the march to continue.

The July 20 ‘Sansad Chalo’ march was organised as part of CJP’s political activities and brought together supporters seeking to move towards Parliament. Such demonstrations require coordination among organisers, particularly when crowds become large and movement through the capital requires management.
