Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, alongside her cabinet colleagues, rolled up their sleeves to donate blood at a vibrant camp held on Kartavya Path, celebrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday during the BJP-led city government’s ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ initiative. The event, steeped in the spirit of service, underscored Modi’s enduring influence on the capital and the nation, with Gupta setting the tone by donating the first unit of blood.
“Every drop of our blood is dedicated to the country,” Gupta declared to reporters, embodying Modi’s ethos of selfless service. “I donated the first unit, following the saying ‘practice what you preach.’” Addressing the gathered crowd, she lauded Modi’s transformative contributions to Delhi, from world-class venues like Yashobhoomi and Bharat Mandapam to enhanced road connectivity. “For the first time, Delhiites are saying ‘Thank you Modiji’ from this stage,” she said, her voice brimming with gratitude.
Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Singh also donated blood, offering heartfelt wishes for Modi’s health and longevity. Cabinet colleague Kapil Mishra highlighted the day’s significance, noting that the blood donation camp and a commemorative walk at Kartavya Path were just the beginning. “Later today, multiple services will be dedicated to the people at Thyagraj Stadium,” Mishra shared, adding that even U.S. President Donald Trump extended birthday greetings to Modi, amplifying the global resonance of the occasion.

The event not only showcased Delhi’s gratitude for Modi’s leadership but also highlighted the unity and dedication of its leadership in serving the public, inspired by the Prime Minister’s call to action. As the capital buzzed with celebratory fervor, the Kartavya Path camp stood as a testament to Modi’s lasting impact at 75.
