CRPF Valor Day: Amit Shah Commemorates 1965 Rann Of Kutch Heroes

Amit Shah paid tribute on Thursday to the personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on the occasion of CRPF Valor Day, honoring their courage and sacrifice in safeguarding the nation. In a post on X, Shah saluted the bravery of the force and recalled their historic role during the 1965 battle at Sardar Post in the Rann of Kutch.

“Salute to the indomitable courage and sacrifice of our brave hearts on CRPF Valor Day,” the Home Minister said, highlighting the significance of the occasion. He noted that CRPF personnel displayed exceptional valor while defending the country during the 1965 conflict, standing “like an unbreakable wall at Sardar Post” and repelling enemy advances.

Shah described the actions of the CRPF at Sardar Post as a “glorious chapter of bravery in India’s history,” emphasizing the lasting legacy of the force in protecting the nation’s borders. His remarks paid particular homage to those personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice during the battle.

“Heartfelt tributes to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the honour and security of the nation,” Shah added, underlining the deep respect and gratitude owed to the fallen soldiers.
