CRPF Constable Recruitment 2026 Begins Tomorrow For Technical And Tradesman Posts
CRPF begins recruitment for 9,195 constable posts from tomorrow.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will open applications for 9,195 Constable (Technical, Tradesman, and Pioneer) posts starting April 20, 2026, marking one of the largest recruitment drives of the year. Eligible candidates can apply through the official CRPF website, with the registration window remaining open until May 19, 2026.
The recruitment drive is open to candidates who have passed Class 10 from a recognised board. However, certain posts require additional qualifications such as Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certification, technical training, or relevant work experience depending on the trade applied for. The salary for selected candidates will be in the pay scale of ₹21,700 to ₹69,100, along with other admissible allowances as per government norms.
Out of the total 9,195 vacancies, 79 posts have been reserved for female candidates, while the remaining positions are for male candidates. Additionally, 20 posts fall under the Pioneer category. The age criteria vary by role, with the Driver post requiring candidates to be between 21 and 27 years, while other trades require applicants to be between 18 and 23 years of age.

The selection process will be conducted in multiple stages, beginning with a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) followed by a Physical Standard Test (PST). Candidates who qualify will then appear for a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by Trade or Skill Tests depending on the post. Document verification and a medical examination will complete the recruitment process. Final selection will be based primarily on performance in the CBT, provided candidates clear all subsequent stages.
A wide range of trades is included in this recruitment drive, such as Cook, Driver, Carpenter, Tailor, Barber, and other technical and support roles. The diversity of posts is aimed at strengthening operational and logistical capabilities within the force.
Candidates can apply by visiting crpf.gov.in, where they must register, fill out the application form, upload required documents, and pay the application fee. For General, OBC, and EWS male candidates, the fee is ₹100 per post. Applicants are advised to complete the process carefully within the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
