“Colours Of Happiness”: Priyanka Gandhi And Kharge Extend Heartfelt Holi Wishes

Priyanka Gandhi and Kharge extend Holi greetings, highlighting love, unity, and the festival’s message of social harmony.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and party MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday extended Holi greetings to the nation, emphasizing the festival’s message of love, unity, and social harmony. Both leaders highlighted Holi as a celebration that transcends divisions and brings people together across communities.

In a post on X, Priyanka Gandhi described Holi as a festival filled with “enthusiasm, excitement, joy, sweetness, and camaraderie.” She said the celebration is an opportunity to embrace family, friends, society, and others with love, urging citizens to share happiness widely. “May Holi bring auspiciousness to all fellow citizens,” she wrote.

Kharge also shared his greetings on X, calling Holi a reflection of India’s vibrant and multicultural society. He underscored the festival as a tradition of unity in diversity, mutual harmony, and brotherhood that has defined Indian civilization for centuries. He added, “On this joyous occasion that erases distances, heartfelt Holi greetings to all of you. May your life always be filled with the colours of happiness.”

Meanwhile, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi celebrated Holi with party leaders and workers at the Congress party headquarters in New Delhi. The AICC premises were vibrant with colours, music, and festive cheer as senior leaders, office-bearers, and supporters participated in the celebrations.

Rahul Gandhi extended his greetings via X, wishing citizens that the festival “fills all your lives with new hopes, fresh enthusiasm, and countless joys.” Party leaders, including spokesperson Supriya Shrinate, MP Mukul Wasnik, former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, and MP Rajeev Shukla, praised his participation and highlighted Holi as a festival of joy, love, and brotherhood.

Holi, one of India’s most widely celebrated festivals, marks the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. Observances across the country are marked by the application of colors, festive gatherings, and communal harmony, reinforcing the festival’s enduring significance in Indian society.
