CM Sharma Pushes Public-First Governance Agenda At BJP Foundation Day Celebration In Jaipur

CM stresses grassroots outreach and public trust during BJP foundation day celebrations in Jaipur.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) marked its foundation day with a series of celebrations and political messaging in Jaipur on Monday, led by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. The event brought together senior party leaders, office-bearers, and workers, highlighting the party’s organisational strength and its focus on governance and public outreach.

The day’s proceedings began with the Chief Minister, accompanied by his wife, hoisting the BJP flag at his residence, ‘Balaji Tower’ near Jawahar Circle. Later, Sharma joined party leaders at the BJP state headquarters, where he, along with state president Madan Rathore, unfurled the party flag in the presence of hundreds of supporters and party workers.

Addressing the gathering, Sharma stressed the importance of maintaining strong grassroots connections, noting that the party must remain committed to public service despite being in power both at the Centre and in Rajasthan. He urged workers to actively engage with citizens and reinforce trust at the ground level, describing public confidence as essential to the party’s continued success.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the BJP’s journey over the past 47 years, crediting the discipline and dedication of party workers for its growth into what he described as the world’s largest political organisation. In a message shared on social media, he said the occasion reaffirmed the party’s commitment to national service, good governance, and the principle of Antyodaya, which focuses on uplifting the most disadvantaged sections of society.

The event featured cultural performances by women party workers, who presented songs referencing alleged examination paper leak cases during the previous Congress government. The performances praised the current administration’s actions against those involved in such scams and received an enthusiastic response from attendees.

Further programmes are scheduled as part of the foundation day celebrations, with prominent leaders including former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari expected to participate. Party leaders said the celebrations underscored a renewed emphasis on organisational unity, governance, and sustained public engagement.
