CM Chandrababu Naidu Hails PM Modi’s Leadership Style And Governance Record
Chandrababu Naidu praises PM Modi’s leadership and governance style.
At a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting held in New Delhi on Wednesday, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership, governance record and growing global stature. The meeting saw the adoption of a “Resolution of Gratitude” marking Modi’s completion of 12 years in office and recognising him as India’s longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister.
Naidu, who described it as an honour to table the resolution, said it represented a historic acknowledgement of Modi’s leadership. He stated that Modi’s governance approach reflects a dual role as both “anchor and innovator,” adding that his guiding principle has consistently been “Nation First,” which he said should remain central to the alliance’s collective approach.
Reflecting on Modi’s long political journey, Naidu noted that the Prime Minister was first elected as Chief Minister in 2001 and has since completed nearly 25 years in public office. He said Modi’s continued ability to meet public expectations demonstrated what he called the “hallmark of leadership,” highlighting consistency and endurance in governance over decades.

Naidu also pointed to India’s economic performance amid global uncertainty, citing challenges such as geopolitical conflicts, disrupted supply chains, volatile energy markets and slowing global growth. Despite this backdrop, he said India’s inflation rate has remained around 3.5 per cent, describing it as one of the lowest among major economies and attributing it to the leadership of the Prime Minister.
The remarks came as NDA leaders reaffirmed support for Modi’s leadership at the meeting, with the resolution serving as a formal acknowledgment of his tenure and political continuity. The gathering underscored the alliance’s emphasis on stability, governance achievements and India’s positioning in a complex global environment.
