CJP Launches ‘Kya Bolti Public’ Campaign, Unveils Four-Pillar Plan To Amplify Public Voices
CJP launches four-pillar public campaign
The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced the agenda for its nationwide “Kya Bolti Public” campaign, focusing on education reform, unemployment, institutional accountability and collaboration with civil society groups. The party said the initiative will aim to understand public concerns and aspirations through direct engagement rather than focusing on electoral promises. The announcement came after the party’s two-day National Working Committee meeting held in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. CJP said its nationwide listening tour will begin in September and will involve interactions with young people across different parts of the country to understand their challenges, expectations and ideas.
The campaign is expected to serve as a platform for gathering public feedback before the party prepares a citizen-driven Youth Reform Charter. According to CJP, the objective is to create a document based on the experiences and priorities of young Indians rather than framing policies without grassroots consultation. CJP co-convenor Saurav Das, in a post on X on Friday, said the movement would prioritise listening to citizens and understanding their concerns. He highlighted education reform and unemployment as key areas of focus, while also stressing the need for stronger institutional accountability in a functioning democracy.
“Education reform and unemployment remain at the very top of our priorities,” Das said, adding that the party would continue to raise questions about accountability of institutions. He argued that democratic institutions must remain answerable for their decisions and actions. The party also stated that it intends to continue functioning as a pressure group while expanding its grassroots presence. CJP said its approach would involve working with civil society organisations and other groups to address issues affecting citizens, particularly young people.

The focus on education and employment comes amid growing concerns among youth over access to quality education, job opportunities and economic security. Political groups and civil society organisations have frequently highlighted unemployment as one of the major challenges facing young people in India. Through the “Kya Bolti Public” campaign, CJP aims to build a direct connection with citizens and collect views on reforms required across various sectors. The party said the listening tour will help identify issues at the ground level and shape its future interventions.
The campaign marks an effort by CJP to expand its public engagement beyond traditional political activities. While the party has not announced an electoral roadmap through the initiative, it said the focus will remain on understanding people’s concerns and advocating for reforms based on public feedback. Further details about the schedule, locations and participants of the nationwide listening tour are expected to be announced ahead of its September launch. The party said the campaign will continue to focus on citizen participation, accountability and youth-related issues.
