Chandrababu Naidu Visits Ayodhya Ram Temple, Praises Ram Rajya Ideals

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu offers prayers at Ayodhya's Ram Janmabhoomi temple.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday offered prayers at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, marking his first personal visit to the sacred shrine after assuming office as Chief Minister. He was warmly received by Uttar Pradesh government officials and temple authorities upon his arrival.

Taking to social media platform X, Naidu described the visit as a peaceful and spiritually uplifting experience. He said the timeless ideals and values of Lord Shri Ram continue to inspire and guide society. Temple officials briefed the Chief Minister on the architectural grandeur and spiritual significance of the newly constructed Ram Mandir.

Speaking to the media later, Chandrababu Naidu said that within the next two years, the Ayodhya Ram Temple would evolve into one of the country’s most prominent spiritual centres. He emphasised that the temple would play a crucial role in strengthening spiritual consciousness and moral values across the nation.

The Chief Minister remarked that governance is best measured against the principles of Ram Rajya, which he described as the ideal benchmark for any government. He praised the judicial process and the spirit of reconciliation that enabled the historic construction of the temple, acknowledging the collective efforts of all those involved.

Naidu also lauded the Uttar Pradesh government and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for their role in the development of Ayodhya and the successful execution of the temple project. He noted the efficiency and vision demonstrated in transforming the city into a global spiritual destination.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) had participated in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Mandir on January 22, 2024, with Naidu being among the few non-BJP leaders present. After joining the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, Naidu went on to lead the NDA to a decisive victory in Andhra Pradesh, becoming Chief Minister once again and positioning the TDP as a key partner in the Union government.
