Central Bank of India Recruitment 2026: Apply for 350 Scale 1 & Scale 3 Officer Posts

Central Bank of India recruits 350 officers; apply online till February 3.

The Central Bank of India has announced a major recruitment drive for 2026, inviting applications for 350 officer-level positions in the Foreign Exchange Officer and Marketing Officer categories. The recruitment aims to strengthen the bank’s specialised functions, particularly in international banking operations and marketing strategy.

According to the official notification, the online application process began on January 20, 2026, and will remain open until February 3, 2026. Eligible candidates are required to apply through the bank’s official website. The recruitment process will be conducted in multiple stages, beginning with an online written examination followed by a personal interview.

The online written examination is scheduled to be held in February or March 2026, while shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews in March or April 2026. The written test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 100 marks, with a time duration of two hours. Performance in both the written examination and interview will determine final selection.

For the post of Foreign Exchange Officer in Middle Management Grade Scale III, candidates must hold a full-time graduate degree in any discipline from an AICTE- or UGC-recognised institution. The bank has stated that preference may be given to candidates with professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or an MBA in a relevant specialisation.

Meanwhile, applicants for the Marketing Officer position in Junior Management Grade Scale I must possess a full-time undergraduate degree with a specialisation in marketing, along with a two-year full-time MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualifications, such as a PGDBA, PGDBM, PGDPM, or PGDM from a recognised institution.

The application fee has been fixed at ₹850 for candidates from the general category. However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Persons with Disabilities (PwBD), and women applicants are required to pay a reduced fee of ₹175. Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official Central Bank of India website for detailed guidelines, eligibility conditions, and further updates related to the recruitment process.
