Breaking News: Srinagar Rocked by Fresh Blasts Hours After Morning Explosions

Jammu and Kashmir’s summer capital, Srinagar, was jolted by two massive explosions near the international airport around 11:45 AM on Saturday, just hours after multiple blasts shook the city early this morning.

The latest attacks triggered widespread panic, with electricity cut off across Srinagar and other parts of the Kashmir Valley, and sirens blaring in several areas, officials reported. Earlier today, around 4:30 AM, residents reported up to 14 explosions near vital installations, including the airport, following India’s successful interception of Pakistani drone attacks on Friday night.

The escalating hostilities, linked to India’s Operation Sindoor targeting terror bases in Pakistan, have heightened tensions. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah urged residents to stay indoors as the region remains on high alert amid blackouts and ongoing military engagements.
