BJP Government Completes 12 Years At Centre, Yogi Adityanath Praises PM Modi

Yogi Adityanath praises PM Modi’s governance as BJP completes 12 years in power at Centre.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government marked 12 years in office at the Centre, describing the Prime Minister’s leadership as an “epoch-making journey” defined by service, governance and public welfare.

In a post shared on social media platform X, CM Yogi extended congratulations to PM Modi on completing 12 years as head of the Union government, calling him the “world’s most popular politician” and lauding his role as a “pradhan sevak.” He credited the government for reshaping India’s welfare delivery systems, strengthening institutional governance and expanding the country’s global influence over the past decade.

Yogi Adityanath said the last 12 years have seen a shift in governance priorities, placing poverty alleviation and welfare at the centre of policy-making. He noted that the concept of Antyodaya—upliftment of the last person in society—had been transformed into a broader push for self-reliance and inclusive development. According to him, public participation has also become a defining feature of governance, turning development into a mass movement.

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister further highlighted India’s growing confidence on the global stage, particularly in matters of security and diplomacy. He said the country today stands “strong and decisive” in addressing challenges such as terrorism, while asserting that India’s international standing has improved significantly under PM Modi’s leadership. He also referred to the convergence of “digital, demography and democracy” as a driving force behind the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047.”

Listing key welfare schemes launched by the Centre, Yogi Adityanath cited initiatives such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Jan-Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana and PM Swanidhi scheme. He said these programmes have expanded access to housing, banking, healthcare, clean cooking fuel and financial support for small vendors, thereby strengthening public trust in governance.

Meanwhile, as the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government completes 12 years at the Centre, the Union government has planned a nationwide outreach campaign. Under this initiative, Union ministers, BJP leaders, chief ministers and Members of Parliament will engage with citizens across the country to highlight what the government describes as its key achievements across multiple sectors over the past 12 years.
