Bihar CM Inaugurates Projects In Munger To Boost Education Sector
Munger receives new projects focused on education growth.
Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Tuesday inaugurated a series of education and public infrastructure projects during his visit to the Tarapur Assembly constituency in Munger district. The initiatives included the launch of model school projects, the inauguration of a model police station, and the beginning of academic activities at a government degree college.
Choudhary arrived in Tarapur by helicopter and reached Launa around 1:35 p.m., where he was given a guard of honour. Local residents and public representatives welcomed the Chief Minister with bouquets. The visit focused on reviewing development initiatives aimed at improving education facilities and strengthening administrative infrastructure in the region.
At Saraswati Vidya Niketan in Launa, the Chief Minister virtually inaugurated 10 government high schools selected for development as model schools in the Tarapur Assembly constituency. During his visit to the school, Choudhary inspected classrooms, interacted with teachers and students, and discussed teaching methods, academic performance, and improvements being made in the education system.

The Chief Minister also visited a science exhibition organised by students and appreciated their innovative projects. Several senior officials and public representatives attended the programme, including Minister Sanjay Singh Tiger, District In-charge and Sugarcane Industries Minister Sanjay Kumar, former MLA Rajiv Singh, Divisional Commissioner Prem Singh Meena, District Magistrate Nikhil Dhanraj Nipnikar, and Superintendent of Police Syed Imran Masood.
Later, Choudhary travelled to Harpur, where he inaugurated the newly developed Model Police Station. He inspected various sections of the facility, including the Station House Officer’s office, lock-up area, and other administrative sections after formally opening the building by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.
The Chief Minister subsequently visited Asarganj and inaugurated academic activities at the Government Degree College. He also interacted with local residents and listened to their concerns as part of a public outreach programme. The visit highlighted the Bihar government’s focus on expanding educational opportunities and improving public infrastructure across the state.
