Bengaluru Shocker! Lawyer Found Dead with Severe Injuries on Bengaluru’s NICE Road

The body of 46-year-old lawyer Jagadeesha H was discovered with severe injuries on NICE Road near CV Raman Estate in Kengeri on Friday night, police said.

A resident of SMV Layout, Kengeri, Jagadeesha’s body was found around 10:30 p.m., approximately 150 meters from his damaged car, which had its parking lights on and doors locked, raising suspicions of foul play.

Based on a complaint by Jagadeesha’s relative, Dr. Prabhajan, Bengaluru West Police registered a murder case under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against unknown persons. The complainant alleged that miscreants intentionally damaged Jagadeesha’s car to force him out, attacking him with a weapon. Severe injuries were noted on his head, left leg, and abdomen, and his mobile phone was missing, police confirmed.

Preliminary investigations suggest the attack was targeted, with the car’s condition indicating a violent assault. The Kengeri police are scanning CCTV footage from the area and examining forensic evidence to identify the perpetrators. The missing phone has prompted a digital trail analysis. “We have registered a case, and an investigation is underway,” a senior officer stated.

The incident has shocked the local legal community, with colleagues describing Jagadeesha as a dedicated advocate. Further details are awaited as police probe potential motives, including personal or professional disputes.
