Andhra CM Naidu Urges Officials To Stay Vigilant Against Political Conspiracies

CM Chandrababu Naidu warns officials against political conspiracies in Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on June 22 issued a strong warning to government officials, urging them to remain alert against what he described as politically motivated conspiracies and misinformation campaigns targeting the administration. The remarks were made during a review meeting at the Real Time Government Society (RTGS) Centre in the State Secretariat in Amaravati.

The Chief Minister alleged that certain political parties were attempting to distort incidents by giving them caste or religious angles, thereby creating unnecessary controversies and undermining public trust in governance. He stated that false propaganda and malicious narratives were being used to damage the reputation of government employees and officials, and stressed the need for a coordinated response to counter such efforts.

Naidu directed officials to adopt a proactive approach in addressing misinformation and preventing incidents that could incite social tensions or hatred. He also referred to recent crimes in the state, noting that some were linked to mental health issues while others were associated with drug and marijuana addiction, and emphasized the importance of addressing underlying causes alongside law enforcement measures.

The Chief Minister highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to resolve older criminal cases, stating that incidents from previous years were being investigated, with offenders being identified and convicted. He stressed that the government must communicate such outcomes clearly to the public to reinforce the message that criminal actions will not go unpunished.

During the meeting, Naidu also reviewed broader governance and development priorities, including stricter enforcement of vehicle registration norms and the promotion of major infrastructure initiatives such as a quantum computing facility and semiconductor park. He noted that a quantum computer launch is planned for December, reflecting Andhra Pradesh’s push toward emerging technologies and innovation-driven growth.

He further emphasized environmental and administrative reforms, calling for increased greenery, water conservation, and improved groundwater recharge systems. Stressing citizen-centric governance, he instructed officials to resolve public grievances with empathy through the Public Grievances System (PGRS), improve soft skills, and ensure courteous interaction with citizens to enhance administrative effectiveness and public confidence in the government.
