Andhra CM Naidu Urges Collectors for Faster Services and Higher Public Satisfaction

Andhra Pradesh CM Naidu directs Collectors to speed up government services and boost public satisfaction.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday called on district Collectors to match the speed of delivering government services with the efficiency of doing business. Speaking at the fifth Collectors’ conference at the Secretariat, he emphasized that public satisfaction must be a top priority to enhance confidence and trust in government.

Naidu stressed that mere numbers are not enough, urging Collectors to implement measures for speedy grievance redressal and efficient service delivery at the grassroots level. He highlighted that district Collectors act as ambassadors of the government, and their performance reflects directly on the administration.

The Chief Minister praised the state for achieving a 92% satisfaction rate in pension distribution and urged officials to ensure Andhra Pradesh is recognized nationwide for best practices in welfare schemes. He encouraged a competitive spirit among Collectors to drive excellence in public service performance.

To ensure transparency, the CM directed that all files and services be available online by January, with blockchain technology used to monitor employee accountability. He also urged Collectors to ground development projects in their districts, referencing the upcoming AI data center in Visakhapatnam in partnership with Google as an example of proactive governance.

Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand highlighted the conference’s importance in enhancing government performance, while Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Ministers Anagani Satyaprasad and Payyavula Kesav addressed the gathering, aligning with the CM’s vision for faster, more efficient public service delivery.
