Aligarh Man Shoots Dog, Opens Fire on Neighbour Who Objected, Police Launch Manhunt

A man allegedly shot dead a dog after becoming upset over its constant barking in Bhojpur village, located within the Harduaganj police station limits of Aligarh. The incident escalated further when a resident objected to the killing, prompting the accused to allegedly open fire on him as well. The injured man was rushed to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

According to the available information, the accused used a licensed revolver to shoot the dog. The reason cited for the attack was the animal’s repeated barking, which had reportedly angered him.
