The fatal crash of a private business jet carrying Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has triggered shockwaves across the state and set off intense political and investigative activity. The VT-SSK Learjet 45 aircraft crashed while attempting to land at Baramati on Wednesday morning, killing all five people on board and plunging Maharashtra politics into sudden uncertainty.
According to initial information, the aircraft went down during the landing phase, a stage considered critical in aviation operations.
