Vivo X300 E Brings Next-Generation Performance With Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Processor

Vivo has launched the Vivo X300 E smartphone in China, expanding its flagship X300 series with a powerful processor, a large-capacity battery and premium display features. The new handset was unveiled on Monday and is currently available for pre-order through Vivo’s official online store, with sales scheduled to begin later this week. The Vivo X300 E is priced starting at CNY 4,799 (approximately Rs 68,000) for the variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The higher-end model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage carries a price tag of CNY 5,299 (around Rs 75,000).

The smartphone will officially go on sale in China from July 31. The device is offered in three colour options — Chen Yehei, Moonlight White and Sunlight Orange (translated from Chinese). Vivo has not yet announced details regarding availability or launch plans for other international markets. The Vivo X300 E is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with LPDDR5x RAM, positioning it as a high-performance smartphone designed for demanding tasks such as gaming, multitasking and AI-powered applications. The handset runs on Vivo’s latest Android 16-based OriginOS 6 operating system.

The smartphone features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,260 x 2,750 pixels. The panel supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, offering smoother animations and improved responsiveness during gaming and everyday usage. Vivo claims the display can reach up to 5,000 nits peak brightness and supports HDR content. The display also offers 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, a 94.7 per cent screen-to-body ratio and support for 1.07 billion colours.

These features are aimed at providing a more immersive viewing experience for users watching videos, playing games or browsing content. For photography, the Vivo X300 E comes with a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. While Vivo has highlighted the camera configuration, detailed specifications of the additional rear sensors and front camera were not fully revealed at launch. The smartphone is equipped with a large 7,200mAh battery, offering extended usage on a single charge.

The high-capacity battery is aimed at users who rely heavily on their devices for entertainment, productivity and gaming throughout the day. In terms of durability, the Vivo X300 E comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. These certifications indicate improved protection against dust exposure and water-related damage, making the device more suitable for everyday use in different environments. The Vivo X300 E enters the premium smartphone segment with a focus on performance, display quality and battery endurance.

With flagship-level hardware and a high-refresh-rate AMOLED panel, the device is positioned to compete with other high-end smartphones in the Chinese market. Vivo’s latest launch reflects the company’s continued push towards premium devices featuring advanced processors, enhanced displays and improved durability.
