Ukrainian Creator Praises India's 'Insane' 6-Minute Delivery Times vs Europe
A Ukrainian creator praises India's 6-minute grocery delivery, contrasting it with Europe's 20-30 minute wait.
A Ukrainian content creator living in India has gone viral after praising the country’s ultra-fast quick-commerce delivery services, calling the experience “insane” compared to Europe. Sandra On, who shared her thoughts in an Instagram video, said groceries and household essentials in India often arrive within minutes, something she found hard to believe even after experiencing it herself. Her comments quickly sparked widespread reactions online.
Describing her experience in Delhi, Sandra said deliveries sometimes arrive in as little as six minutes despite the city’s notorious traffic congestion. She joked that travelling across Delhi itself can take hours, making the speed of these services even more surprising. According to her, the convenience has completely changed the way she handles daily tasks and shopping routines.
Sandra shared one particular incident where she realized she was missing an ingredient while cooking at home. Instead of stopping her work and going out to buy it, she placed an order instantly and received the item before she even needed it. She said the uninterrupted process felt unbelievable and highlighted how smoothly life functions with India’s growing quick-commerce ecosystem.

Comparing the experience with Europe, Sandra said grocery deliveries in countries such as Ukraine and Poland usually take at least 20 to 30 minutes, and often much longer. She questioned why European cities, especially smaller ones like Warsaw, still lag behind despite having less traffic and smaller urban spread than Indian metros. She also pointed out that delivery fees in Europe are often significantly higher.
The video triggered strong reactions on social media, with several users explaining how India’s quick-commerce companies operate through a network of “dark stores” or small local warehouses placed strategically across cities. This system allows delivery partners to travel only short distances, helping companies such as Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart deliver orders within minutes.
Many users from abroad also joined the discussion, saying same-day delivery itself is considered impressive in several countries. Others said India’s rapid adoption of quick-commerce services has transformed urban lifestyles, though some pointed out that the convenience also reduces physical activity as people increasingly avoid stepping outside for daily essentials.
