Trump Issues Final Ultimatum To Iran: 4 Hours to Destroy Key Infrastructure

US President Donald Trump warned that Iran’s key infrastructure could be destroyed in four hours if Tehran fails to reopen the Strait of Hormuz by his Tuesday deadline.

Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran, stating that key infrastructure, including bridges and power plants, could be destroyed “within four hours” if Tehran fails to comply with a United States deadline linked to the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. The remarks were made during a press conference at the White House, signalling a sharp escalation in rhetoric between the two nations.

Trump described the situation as a “critical period” and warned that Iran could be “taken out in one night” if tensions continue to rise. His comments underline growing concerns over geopolitical stability in the region, particularly given the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global oil shipments. The ultimatum appears aimed at pressuring Iran to take immediate steps toward de-escalation.

According to the statements made during the briefing, the US administration believes that rapid military action could severely damage Iran’s core infrastructure if necessary. Trump emphasised the speed and scale at which such an operation could be carried out, suggesting that the US has both the capability and readiness to act decisively should negotiations fail.

Reports also indicate that Tehran has responded by taking precautionary measures, including the formation of what have been described as “human shields” around critical installations such as power plants. While details remain limited, these developments point to heightened tensions and the possibility of further escalation if diplomatic efforts do not succeed.

The evolving situation has drawn global attention, with analysts warning of potential disruptions to international trade and energy markets. Any conflict affecting the Strait of Hormuz could have far-reaching consequences, as a significant portion of the world’s oil supply passes through the narrow waterway, making stability in the region a matter of international concern.

As the deadline approaches, the focus remains on whether diplomatic channels can prevent further escalation. The United States has reiterated its position, while Iran’s response is being closely monitored by the international community. The coming days are expected to be crucial in determining whether the standoff leads to negotiation or a more serious confrontation.
